SHAWN WITHERS:
Chief Instructor

Shawn Withers, a certified instructor, holds a 3rd degree Black Belt in Broken Wing Kenpo and a 2nd degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kenpo. He also holds a Black Belt in O-Ki-Tao and has earned the rank of Canemaster from Grandmaster Mark Shuey. Mr. Withers, a stroke survivor, has worked with a variety of students both disabled and non-disabled. He has extensive experience working with disabled students making him a pioneer in the field of teaching martial arts to the physically challenged. Mr. Withers is a 2005 inductee into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame and a 2007 inductee into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame. He is coauthor of BROKEN WING, an autobiography to be published in January, 2008.

ANDREA WITHERS:
Instructor

Andrea Withers, a certified instructor, also holds a 3rd degree Black Belt in Broken Wing Kenpo as well as a 2nd degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kenpo and a Black Belt in O-Ki-Tao. Along with Shawn, she co founded Natural Motion Martial Arts. Ms. Withers has developed The C.R.I.T.I.C.A.L. Approach, a program designed to train martial arts instructors how to teach martial arts to the physically disabled.

DUSTIN BOYINGTON :
Instructor

Dustin obtained the first of several Shodan ranks in September of 1997. He is currently training with Shawn and Andrea Withers and earned Nidan rank in the Broken Wing Kenpo system in 2006, bringing his innovative Environmental Defense knowledge to the curriculum. He travels to Massachusetts to study Kung-fu, Silat and Filipino Martial Arts with Guros Mike and May Williams who operate the Martial Arts Research Institute. Dustin has completed the Advanced Combative and Survival Training, Knife Fighting Arts/ Edged and Impact Weapons. His other training families include CaneMasters International Assoc., AMOK, and O-Ki-Tao

Guest Instructors:

Natural Motion Martial Arts ™ also brings in guest instructors from time to time. They bring in knowledge of other styles and a different perspective to our students. These instructors share our belief in giving back to the community and our dedication to personal growth through the martial arts.
